The Anglo-Israel Association (AIA) was greatly saddened to hear of the passing of Lord (Jacob) Rothschild OM, GBE, CVO (29 April 1936 – 26 February 2024) who was a champion for UK-Israel relations, as well as a towering force in finance, culture, preservation of heritage, and philanthropy.
Lord Rothschild’s positive and generous contributions on behalf of the United Kingdom, the people and State of Israel, and the Jewish community worldwide leave a powerful and inspiring legacy of commitment and altruism. He was a great friend to the AIA and will be sorely missed.
